Promoting, performing and enjoying  quality music in Carlisle, Pennsylvania since 1925


Carlisle Musical Arts Club was organized in 1925 by a group of music performers and music lovers in the Carlisle area for the purpose of bringing quality music to the area - for both performers and audiences.  We sponsor an annual public concert and provide college scholarships for music majors from the area high schools.

Members of the Club have the opportunity to perform at monthly concerts held the second Tuesday of each month, October through June, at 7:30 PM.  The programs feature solo and ensemble performances of widely varied repertoire.

2024 - 2025:  Celebrating

Our 100th anniversary!


Special events will mark the Centennial Celebration of CMAC

• CMAC will present Cumberland Flutes, under the direction of Jocelyn Goranson, along with CMAC guitarists, in concert on April 6, 2025
• CMAC has commissioned a work in honor of Joan Boytim, CMAC member and National Association of Teachers of Singing Lifetime Achievement Award winner - composed by Dr. Robert Pound to be performed by Dickinson College voice faculty.  Premiere scheduled fall / winter of 2025
• Celebrating our mission to promote the arts in the Carlisle community, CMAC members will participate in the Downtown Carlisle Association's Harvest of the Arts in September, 2025
